The Notorious BIG Lives… as an SEM Expert!

What can I say? Our geeky obsession of paid search has finally been immortalized with a super-fly rap. Check it out:

While he doesn’t exactly spill anything new he’s spot on about how to run an SEM campaign. I also have to give props to someone who can help us laugh a bit. I also want to give credit to Paul Bourque at UberAffiliate for the great find.

  1. I saw in my blog admin that this post was linking to me, but nothing here. Weird.

Anyhow, entertaining song, but doesn't sound anything like B.I.G. to me.

FYI: I believe he works for PopLabs, a Social Media and Search Marketing Agency.

  3. Ahh… mystery solved. I came across a syndicated version of this post at RevenueSource.com with the mystery link, which is now omitted:

"(Hey Shawn, why don't you bust a rhyme?)"

I suppose it was removed to retain the serious tenor of the piece.

I don't know if someone edited the post for me or Revenews was choking on my edits… I did publish and wanted to keep my challenge to Shawn in there… I'm all for a little bit of fun, so yes, I'd love to see Shawn bust a rhyme at the summit! 🙂

  5. I checked the logs and you're the only person that's edited the post, Lee.
